Ingredients
- 300g pork tenderloin
- 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
- 1/2 green bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cooking wine
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp white vinegar
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
Steps
- Cut the pork tenderloin into small pieces and marinate with soy sauce, cooking wine, and cornstarch for 15 minutes.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan. Once hot, add the marinated pork and fry until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Leave a little oil in the pan, add the diced green and red bell peppers, and stir-fry until slightly tender.
- Add the pineapple chunks, ketchup, white vinegar, sugar, and salt. Stir well to combine.
- Return the fried pork to the pan and toss quickly to coat evenly with the sauce.
- Serve immediately.
Tips
Maintain a moderate oil temperature when frying the pork—too high will burn it, and too low won't make it crispy.
