Ingredients

  • 300g pork tenderloin
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cooking wine
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp white vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)

Steps

  1. Cut the pork tenderloin into small pieces and marinate with soy sauce, cooking wine, and cornstarch for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan. Once hot, add the marinated pork and fry until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  3. Leave a little oil in the pan, add the diced green and red bell peppers, and stir-fry until slightly tender.
  4. Add the pineapple chunks, ketchup, white vinegar, sugar, and salt. Stir well to combine.
  5. Return the fried pork to the pan and toss quickly to coat evenly with the sauce.
  6. Serve immediately.

Tips

Maintain a moderate oil temperature when frying the pork—too high will burn it, and too low won't make it crispy.
