Ingredients

  • Fresh fish 1 whole (about 500g)
  • Ginger 30g
  • Scallions 3 stalks
  • Light soy sauce 2 tbsp
  • Cooking oil 1 tbsp

Steps

  1. Clean the fish and make diagonal cuts on both sides
  2. Slice ginger and scallions into thin strips
  3. Place fish on a plate with ginger underneath
  4. Steam over high heat for 8-10 minutes
  5. Remove and drain excess water
  6. Top with scallion strips
  7. Heat oil until smoking and pour over scallions
  8. Drizzle with soy sauce
